IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR SAFETY THAT YOU TEST YOUR SYSTEM REGULARLY. Access codes can be changed from the keypad and must have digits. In order to change codes from the keypad, use of the primary access code is required. Arming, disarming, bypassing zones, etc., can be accomplished using any of the codes. Obviously, they can also be used in any other way that you desire. These secondary codes are designed to provide access to a maid or other service persons for whom you want to grant entry. Your keypad has the added convenience of additional access codes. Additionally, built into each EKP1L is a miniature sounding device which, when active, indicates various conditions such as a Pre-Alarm Warning, Fault Condition, Test Modes of operation, or Door Annunciation. A brief description of the functions of each light and the LCD display is shown in Figure 1.
